I am a Latina immigrant, a native Spanish speaker, and a naturalized United States Citizen since 1987. After learning English, I graduated from The University of Georgia, undergraduate and graduate school, with the highest academic honors. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of education and practical experience which are the foundation of my clinical practice.

I am pretty traditional in my beliefs about the purpose of therapy, but not your traditional therapist.I do not sit with a notebook and write down everything you say with a hmm at the end before I collect my fee.I am interactive and even directive sometimes. I guess that's why I work well with teenagers:) So, if you want therapy to be fun, I'm your gal. My specialty area has been adolescents and addiction for over 30 years, but I see adults too (codependence, divorce, parent alienation) etc. I am also a past President of LPCA, and operate a new virtual business called ProjectEvolve.com. It is an alternative to social media for kids.

Hi, I’m Shaunesse Bell. I work with adolescents and adults to better manage depression, anxiety and socialization issues. Feeling misunderstood or disconnected by family and peers can lead to isolation and unhealthy behaviors. Learning to better regulate emotions, stay focused, and cope with challenges is key to feeling better. I support my client to develop new communication skills to thrive in school, work, and the home environment.

My potential clients are aware they need counseling or have reached a point where they cannot manage their life effectively. While they are in charge of what they do with their lives they may feel unable to navigate it. I divide my time between trauma therapy and marriage and family therapy. My practice offers individual therapy, couples counseling, mediation, diagnostic and forensic evaluations, and coparenting services. In individual therapy, I tend to work with clients on improving symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, family issues, and PTSD.

Megan Caldwell is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, who has been practicing since 2018. She graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Megan believes in client-centered counseling, and integrates CBT and DBT skills to assist clients in understanding and managing their emotions. Her main areas of focus include helping teens and adults manage anxiety and depression, navigate relationships, and increase self-esteem. In her spare time, Megan enjoys reading, hiking, and cooking.
