Eclectic in my approach as there is no one theory fits all, I focus on client strengths and working toward solutions to overcoming barriers. Whatever is hindering your ability to move forward we will work through it and together find success in conquering weaknesses, adversity, working through grief and increasing self esteem to become your best self. We all have the ability to find happiness and to live our best life. I enjoy working with all ages children through adults. I particularly enjoy with working couples as well. In addition, I am Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) trained and a certified Yoga Instructor.

Kada enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults. Kada graduated with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Florida. She genuinely cares for her clients and puts a lot of time and effort into making sure they are getting the help that they need. She takes a trauma-informed approach and uses attachment-based theory in her practice. She also utilizes CBT, Person-Centered and Mindfulness Based Interventions. When working with children, she loves using Play Therapy Techniques as play is a child’s primary form of communication and processing.

Kelvin is passionate about helping his clients achieve their personal goals and navigate life’s challenges. He has worked with individuals from all walks of life, helping them find meaning and purpose amidst difficult circumstances. His approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and respect for each client’s unique journey. Kelvin is experienced in working with children, teens, couples, and adults. He is certified in Gottman Marriage Therapy and is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English.

With a background in marriage and family therapy, my counseling style tends to be relationship oriented and solutions-focused. I offer a blend of empathy and support while presenting real-world suggestions for growth and healing. I have found that while all clients want to feel heard and understood, this alone is not enough for therapy to be effective. Together, we can work towards finding realistic solutions to improve your life, relationships, and overall happiness.

Dr. Ami Owen received her undergraduate degree in Social Science and a minor in Psychology. She received her Master’s in General Family Therapy with an advanced emphasis on families and trauma. Dr. Owen also received a Doctorate in Counseling and is a Clinically Certified Trauma Professional. She is licensed in ID, WA, AZ, TX, FL, CA, UT and is a nationally approved supervisor through the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). She takes delight in mentoring therapists on the complexities of family systems and consults with providers across the country to improve systems approaches.

At this time, I am in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance. If you have another insurance, my practice uses a tool that makes Out-of-Network reimbursement easier and less expensive for you up-front. My practice also offers an Affordable Therapy program serviced by our Graduate Student Intern. These sessions are $30 per session.

Karen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board approved supervisor in the state of Florida. She has 11 years’ experience helping individuals three years and older adversely affected by abuse, neglect, and trauma. She has helped people with depression, anxiety, anger issues, life transitions, couple’s issues, and addictive/compulsive behaviors. Karen is certified in Integrative Medicine for Mental Health to help clients improve their mental health holistically. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and her Master of Science in mental health counseling from Capella University.
