I have experience working with individuals providing treatment for mood disorders, irrational core beliefs, and behavioral difficulties. I have also worked with couples on issues related to relational repair, attachment enhancement, and conflict resolution. My work in family systems focus on increasing attachment bonds within the family system, help with re-orienting established norms, and conflict resolution.
In my experience working in the community for a clinic focused on children and adolescent teens, I have had the opportunity to work with many teens/young adults with issues related to: ADHD, Depression,Oppositional defiance, Anxiety, Adjustment difficulties, Bullying, and Grief/Loss.
My clinical as well as personal experience working through obstacles commonly experienced as a sexual minority, those who self identify with the LGBTQI community, provide me with understanding into this specific demographic that I bring into sessions in my work. My work in this area involve affirming the client process towards identity integration.
