I've been a licensed private practice therapist for 12 years, and counseled in schools & agencies for 8 years. I am warm and non-judgmental, while also being direct and challenging perspectives. I use CBT and mindfulness approaches, and art or play therapy to help kids or teens feel comfortable sharing, and learn new ways to recognize and cope with feelings.
Through counseling, we’ll bring awareness to thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and physical reactions that you or your child or teen experience. This awareness, coupled with new coping strategies, will help in navigating stressful situations, and in moving through future challenges more easily on your (or their) own.
