Teens are fabulous in all their glory and craziness! Helping teens and young adults find their courage to transform, change ways that don’t serve them, and be who they are is my passion. I work with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. In addition to in-office sessions, I’ve worked in more than ten schools throughout the South Bay providing group and individual therapy to students. I also work with adults and professionals in high-stress careers who have come to a crossroads with a relationship or career, are struggling with stress and anxiety, or are having trouble finding passion and purpose in their lives.

Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, marital issues, parenting concerns, or anything else--you should know that there is a better way to manage your life. Supporting mothers throughout the stages of motherhood is something I hold close to my heart. I am also extremely passionate about my work with teen girls, especially those who struggle with academic pressures. I facilitate two girls' group each week that focuses on friendships, self-esteem, self-care, and coping skills for middle and high school.

As we all know, life is not easy, and we are constantly confronted by doubts, darkness, fear, loss, and loneliness. I dedicate my time and efforts and use my skill set to collaborate with clients. I help them develop resources and tools, tap their inner strength, and get them back on the road to living a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I know how scary it can be to reach out for help and let someone in on your struggles. It can feel devestating when your life feels like it's not working. The guilt and overwhelm that comes when your attempts to make changes fall short. This is why I believe therapy can be so helpful. My role is to support you through the ebs and flows of life as well as provide you a trustworthy therapeutic relationship to work through past and present experiences or stuck points in relationships that are keeping you from feeling fulfilled.

Clients who work with me might struggle with anxiety, depression, chronic illness/ autoimmune issues, trauma due to relational/family dynamics, OCD, and grief and loss. I provide expressive arts therapy and talk therapy for all ages including mindful parenting support for adults and re-parenting and parts work for teens and adults.

My goal is to foster a human-centered space where children, teens and young adults feel like they can be authentically seen, heard and free to express themselves. I understand how intimidating it can sometimes feel to sit across from a therapist and feel like you’re under a microscope. As an imperfect human who has experienced my own struggles, I hope to bring compassion, realness and understanding to those I work with. Through creativity and play, I hope to help children find ways to process difficult emotions through means that make sense to them. Brandi loves to work with all humans working through related to self-worth, relationships, identity, anxiety, etc. Brandi wants to provide that safe space that may be missing. Her goal is to help adults become introspective and limit the recreation of learned patterns. Brandi also loves to work with children and adolescents ages 7-17 around numerous issues, including, but not limited to: relationships/friendships, exploration, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, fears, and finding their voice. Brandi is dedicated to helping them become strong and healthy humans before they lead lives fully on their own.

I am a Somatic Psychotherapist from Japan. I have worked for Simple Trauma / PTSD and Complex Trauma / Complex PTSD. I will work through the trauma behind your current problems, depression, panic, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and so on, by reading the signs and noticing the unspoken voice and exploring the unknown self with your curiosity. You become aware of yourself that you have not been aware of before. I am here to support you.

My specialities as a therapist are 1) children, adolescents, & their families and 2) student athletes. Many individuals within this population suffer with mood disorders, anxiety, school & sport performance stress, identity crisis, family conflict, and low self-esteem due to familial/societal expectations and competitive culture. As a child, teenager, or parent, managing all these life stressors can take a toll on our mental health. My hope as a therapist is to make clients feel safe to process these struggles, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and improve their social/ family connections around them.
