I know it can be difficult to start new things or even just leave home, but I assure you I am here to help support you in any way you need. Working through the many different challenges that life throws our way can be exhausting and overwhelming. Sometimes it can feel like we are simply surviving and not really living or enjoying life. I am here to support you. I work with individuals, couples, teens and families. First responders often experience secondary trauma responses. I welcome first responders; police, soldiers, firefighters and medical staff on stress, loss, ptsd, suicide, family life and more.

It can be fearful asking for help, talking to someone new, and exploring situations that illicit negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. It can be hard to recognize that something needs to change, and I have been there a time or two. I plan to meet you where you currently need me. I will challenge you and hold you accountable in regard to your treatment plan and goals that we have established together. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help individuals with depression, anxiety, and relationship problems and those going through a divorce or struggling with custody issues. I also work with individuals on the autism spectrum.

I am a fully-licensed Clinical Psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association with over 20 years of experience in my field. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings providing a wide range of psychological services to individuals diverse in age, as well as, ethnicity and lifestyle. For the last 18 years, I have been working in my own private practice serving both children & adults with various mental health, behavioral and/or relationship challenges. I love what I do and consider it a privilege to be entrusted by my clients and their families with their mental health care.

I have experience working with individuals with ADHD, anger issues, anxiety, depression or autism spectrum disorders. I am fully trained to work with adults, children, and adolescents. I am trained to evaluate individuals for ADHD. I have also worked extensively with individuals struggling with severe mental illnesses, such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

What I have learned from my experience in the mental health field is that we may be able to walk alone in our struggles, but having someone alongside us is empowering. I strive to walk alongside those that I work with, while giving you full credit in knowing that you were able to reach your full potential. Partners in Change provides individual, couples, family, and group therapies to all ages. Welcome to my profile! I'm the proud owner and licensed clinical social worker at Bee Well Therapy in East Tawas, MI, where I've been dedicated to nurturing mental health since 2016. My journey in social work includes my role at Clara Bolen Elementary in Tawas City, where I supported young minds. Prior to that, I honed my skills as an Infant Mental Health Clinician at Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health until August 2021. My approach is all about understanding each client's unique needs.
