Trauma and difficult life circumstances can often disconnect us from ourselves and the world around us. This is normal. It's a way to survive what may not have felt bearable at the time. Yet, even through the disconnection, your wholeness remains intact. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person, no matter the circumstances, holds the capacity for a deeply meaningful and fulfilling life. As your therapist, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, clarify what a meaningful life looks like for you, and take intentional steps toward living it.
I have extensive experience working with trauma and attachment, OCD, addiction (process and substance), ADHD, relationship concerns, depression, & anxiety. Though I incorporate multiple techniques & theories in session, my approach is primarily rooted in ACT, IFS, & EFT. I am also trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR & can incorporate this into our sessions, as needed.
