With over 20 years of experience in the counseling field, Cynthia A. Criss, LPC, Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist, founded a private practice, Open Hearts, Open Minds Counseling Services specializing in the treatment of addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma and intimacy disorders. Treatment of intimacy disorders may include a focus on sexual compulsivity, infidelity and relational trauma. Cynthia helps persons to create healthy and intimate relationships. She provides individual, group, couples and family therapy in the treatment of addiction (sexual compulsive behavior, drugs, alcohol), depression, anxiety, and trauma.

We provide a variety of specialties at our agency among our 24 therapists. Programming for pornography and sexual addiction (adults, couples and teens), betrayal trauma, marriage therapy, parenting, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, suicide prevention, trauma, self-harm and other mental health concerns. We treat children, youth and adults. Our counselors have specialized training and expertise in their specific areas of emphasis. Joleena is Certified in the Treament of Sexual Addiction, is a Certified Betrayal Trauma Coach, a Certified Clinical Trauma and Addiction Specialist, with an Masters of Psychology in Grief Counseling, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Joleena specializes in helping couples working through betrayal and addiction of all kinds. She also works with clients that are struggling with anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. Her passion is to provide a safe space for her clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

Adlin is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with clients facing challenges with their sex life, addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, eating disorders, and body image issues. Adlin offers 16+ years of experience assisting clients to find healing and growth. She understands that life can be challenging, and sometimes support is needed to navigate through difficult times. Adlin provides a safe and confidential space where clients can explore their feelings and work towards positive change. Adlin assists with self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.
