Starting therapy can be trying process, and often what's important is finding the right fit between a therapist and a client. Once therapy begins, it can be an incredible resource where an individual may regain a sense of balance and peace of mind, build more satisfying relationships, develop more effective communication, as well as find the sense of direction and meaning that allows one to thrive. I also work as a forensic expert in women’s reproductive mental health and consult with legal counsel on criminal cases that are relevant to an experience in the postpartum period, this includes murder, infanticide, neonatacide.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults, young adults and adolescents. I have a background in school social work and the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and much more in the inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to my work at Crescent Moon, I also work at Northwestern Medicine in a nationally-renowned program that specializes in maternal mental health. I provide mental health services and coordinate care with OBGYN's and other mental health providers for pregnant and postpartum individuals.

Accepting New Patients in IL - I specialize in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), hair-pulling/skin-picking, and generalized anxiety. I have over a decade of experience working in private practice, university counseling centers, hospitals, and schools. I also frequently work with individuals facing stress, major life transitions, and academic or work-related issues. I've worked extensively with students and professionals in fields like law, medicine, and business.
