PrairieCare provides each patient with the psychiatric care truly needed with specialized psychiatric services for people of all ages. We offer a full continuum of care throughout Minnesota. Our services include inpatient hospitalization for ages 35 and younger, focusing on safety and stabilization for acute health and safety concerns. A residential treatment program for ages 10 to 18, with an average length of stay between two and four months, to help young people with complex or severe symptoms. Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) offer a partial and full-day treatment schedule, including individual and group therapy, and medication management. Clinic services provide weekly psychotherapy, psychiatry, medication management, and evaluation. We also have specialized programs including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health Program, and Health Eating and Living (HEaL) for teens with disordered eating.

Whether an individual is experiencing depression, anxiety, or a complex disorder like ADHD or an eating disorder, our clinical experts are accredited and trained to provide tailored care in response to their needs and goals. PrairieCare’s providers work to eliminate barriers and allow patients to focus on treatment and healing. We create the path so people of all ages can focus on healing. We have a full continuum of care that meets the patient where they are in their mental health journey. Our care team finds the appropriate care level during intake and can transition the intensity of programming based on the patient's needs. Mental health management is not always a straight path, but we have the flexibility to adjust care when it’s needed. PrairieCare is an in-network provider for most major insurance plans and our goal is to optimize the benefit coverage for clients and families. We work closely with patients, their families, agency representatives, insurance companies, EAPs, and managed care providers to determine all possible payment options.
