I am a bilingual marriage and family therapist with twenty years experience working with individuals, couples, and families of various age groups and diversities. One of my primary focuses is Relationship counseling which teaches effective communication skills. Relationship counseling offers an excellent approach between parent and child to understand the stages of development and needs of the children. Another method that has been successful in my practice is Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. MBSR incorporates techniques such as meditation, gentle yoga and mind-body exercises to help people learn how to cope with stress.
