If you feel anxious, depressed and have difficulty facing challenges in life, I can provide you with the counseling and support you need to work through your problems, manage stress, and achieve a state of mental health and well-being. My goal as a therapist is to ensure that you find happiness and fulfillment through healthy, meaningful relationships, meaningful work and engagement in community life. You will learn essential coping strategies and effective communication skills that will help you confidently, compassionately and effectively interact with intimate partners, friends, family, colleagues, and clients.
As a trauma specialist, I earn the trust of brave people traumatized by recent or past experiences, who reach out to me for help. While painful memories often resurface during sessions, the freedom to safely speak, reflect upon, and reprocess traumatic events, helps trauma survivors heal, unencumbered by the weight of the past.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), NYC Medical Reserve Corps. volunteer, and child of a Holocaust survivor, my greatest reward is to help someone who was suffering in pain, make peace with the past and find joy and happiness in the simple pleasures in life.
