I have extensive experience treating children and adolescents. For 11 years, I traveled into elementary, middle, and high schools to provide individual and group therapy for students. I am comfortable and confident helping children and adolescents better understand and process their feelings, perceptions, and behaviors through the combined use of play-therapy, applied creative arts, and behavioral modification.
I frequently work with adults struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and parenting concerns. My familiarity with the Department of Education has helped parents and their children navigate the complexity of the public (and private) school system.
