My specialization lies in providing mental health therapy to individuals, families, and couples of all ages. Beyond addressing common concerns like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship issues, I bring a unique expertise in emotional intelligence. Specifically, I focus on meeting the diverse needs of multi-generational Haitian American individuals and families by helping them navigate various challenges, and offering a guiding hand through the complexities of their past.

I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I received my doctoral degree in 1991 from the School of Psychology at The Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. I have 20+ years of experience serving a broad range of populations to include children, adolescents, adults, and seniors within inpatient, outpatient, school, assisted living/rehab. centers, and military mental health care settings. I currently provide outpatient psychological services and consultation at my private practice office in Oviedo. I also provide on-site consultation at various local schools and rehabilitation centers, and volunteer services through the Outreach Ministry at my home church.

Along with this ideology, I take great care in personalizing all treatment plans to be just as unique as the individual sitting in front of me. Dr. Damis is a Diplomate with the American Board of Professional Psychology, a Fellow of both the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology & the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance, and holds ASCH Certification in Clinical Hypnosis with Consultant Status. He established Integrative Health Psychology, PA in 2003 to advance the comprehensive care of physical & emotional conditions that often become persistent problems due to lack of coordinated psychological & medical treatment. In addition to teaching hypnosis at national conferences, he has also conducted research & written on topics of trauma, persistent pain, neuropsychological functioning in medically ill individuals, aging, & psychotherapy process.

Do you have a teen daughter or are you a young woman struggling with stress and anxiety, sadness, body-image issues, self-harm/cutting? For the past ten year I have focused my practice on working with teen girls and young women to help them cope with difficult emotions, learn new ways to manage stress, how to communicate better with others, and how to feel more confident. I also collaborate and coach parents on how to strengthen their relationship with their teen while also learning how to support your loved one's mental and emotional health.
