I work with adults, adolescents, families and groups. First we identify what you want and need to change. We then design and adjust your individual path of specific action and behavior change. It is important to me that you teach me about yourself and that you trust me to assist you in creating a plan for change that suits you personally. As your confidence grows and you begin to use a new set of balanced coping skills, will your problems will diminish. My experience and passion for psychotherapy will help us form a meaningful therapeutic connection critical for your transformation.
Communication for Healthy Families - A Parenting Workshop
Specialties include: parenting education and family therapy; addiction, relapse prevention and emotional sobriety in recovery; adolescent treatment including social, mood and academic challenges; family systems approach for those affected by substance abuse, mental illness and other family dysfunction (adult child, parent, sibling, partner); trauma resolution (ART certified); and group therapy.
My range of experience in clinical mental health work has provided tremendous respect for culturally sensitive, trauma informed, and love in action. My work is a privilege - in a community health clinic, as director of counseling at a private independent school, in a private practice, or as a professional trainer.
