I’ve helped thousands of clients cope with depression, anxiety, illness and relationships for over 25 years. I use cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and family systems therapies, but am flexible and personalize my approach for the specific situation and client needs. I work with individuals, families and couples, combining support, insight, cognitive and relaxation/imagery techniques. Trained as an undergraduate at Penn State, and at University of Texas at Austin for my masters, I’ve supervised and managed many psychotherapists at hospitals and mental health agencies.

In my 19 years as a therapist, I have worked with a range of clients, such as co-dependency, anger, OCD, phobias, panic disorders, and PTSD & trauma with individuals, couples, and families, and I have learned every client is vastly different. One thing that is the same is that the goal for the client is always moving towards living kind of the life they want to live. What that looks like is different for everyone because we all have our own set of values. But the stronger our values, the harder it can be to accept ourselves and others in the world.
