I've worked in the mental health field for over 25 years and provide psychotherapy and consultation services to those in NY and NJ. Having worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community counseling clinics, I specialize in treating emotion dysregulation, addictions, mood and anxiety disorders, and in helping clients develop coping and resilience. My name is Joe and I am a LPC committed to providing compassionate, explorative, and solution focused care to my clients. My specializations include; the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Trauma (PTSD), OCD, Personality Disorders, and LGBTQIA+ Issues. In treatment I utilize DBT, CBT, and Existential Therapy techniques to guide clients towards effectively regulating emotions, tolerating distress, improving interpersonal relationships, and observing/adjusting behaviors.
