At Positive Intentions, LLC, we believe therapy should feel personal—not clinical, scripted, or one-size-fits-all. Our award-winning group practice provides individualized counseling for adults, couples, families, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, stress, and major life transitions. With a diverse team of clinicians and approaches, we help clients better understand themselves, challenge patterns that are no longer working, and create meaningful change. We offer in-person counseling in East Stroudsburg, PA, and telehealth throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Our Team
Many men I work with look “fine” on the outside—reliable, hardworking, holding it together—while privately struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship conflict, anger, or shutting down. You may go quiet during tough conversations, feel criticized no matter what you do, or become defensive when what you really want is closeness. Together, we’ll get beneath those reactions and explore the pressure, past experiences, relationship patterns, and protective parts driving them.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me… but something is. - I hear that a lot, and I’m good at helping people turn that confusion into clarity. I work with adults who feel emotionally stuck, intensely reactive, chronically dissatisfied, or like they keep sabotaging progress. Maybe your mood flips fast, your thoughts spiral, you feel empty or disconnected, or you’re exhausted from trying to hold it together. Maybe you’ve collected labels over the years and none of them fully fit. My style is direct, curious, and assessment-informed. I like patterns. I like nuance. I like figuring out what’s driving the behavior underneath the behavior.

You don’t have it all figured out to start therapy.
I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted—often functioning well on the outside while struggling internally. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, blending evidence-based techniques with a client-centered style.
Therapy is a space to slow down, feel understood, explore emotions, and break unhelpful patterns.
Together, we’ll build tools that support meaningful, sustainable change in everyday life.

Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether it’s stress at work, challenges at home, relationship struggles, or questions about who you are and where you’re headed. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Therapy can be a supportive space to slow down, feel heard, and start making sense of what you’re experiencing.
