When most people are seeking a therapist, they are looking for someone they “click” with. I get it. Reaching out for help, whether it's walking in to a therapists office, over the phone or online is a big step and takes courage. Everyone needs to feel when they do so that the person they have chosen to help them fits with them and their needs well. I couldn’t agree more. Therapy is a relationship. When life is hard, you want someone you're comfortable with to help address the struggles and challenges you face everyday. You want someone who gets you, that is relateable and you feel is qualified to help get you there!
I have worked in the mental health field for over 30 years. I've been to grad school a few times, and have degrees and licenses in several fields . (Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy). I have worked with folks of all age groups with a broad range of disgnostic issues and theoretical approaches. We will find one that fits best for you.

My focus is on connecting with clients and meeting them where they are, versus “treating them.” My “philosophical and theoretical approach” starts with the foundation that you are the best expert when it comes to you and your family.
