Dr. Artico has over 20 years of experience helping couples, adults and teens become who they were meant to be. She is the director of Gainesville Family Counseling, has taught at George Mason University, and is the author of the book Latino Families Broken by Immigration. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT), clinical supervision, and sandtray therapy.

I am passionate about helping others succeed in improving their mental health so they may live healthy life. I believe each stage of life brings an opportunity to grow and challenges to be faced. Due to people’s backgrounds and mental health issues, they may lack the skills or emotional stability to navigate circumstances on their own. My goal is to provide an empathetic, non-judgmental, warm, and attentive environment that produces personal growth and wholeness.
