I serve couples, families and individuals in Portland. Specializing in relationships, I see therapy as a practice of assisted self-discovery, facilitating deeper levels of awareness and change. I believe we have an inherent ability to heal ourselves. I offer you the experience of mindful observation, acceptance and compassion, so you may learn to offer that same unconditional positive regard towards yourself. Sitting in close and conscious relationship with a skilled therapist can be a profound vehicle for this process. Using an integrative approach, I recognize the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit while considering constraints in my clients' lives.

My style is relational, direct, supportive, engaging and kind. Therapy is largely inspired and informed by my training in Emotion Focused Therapy for Individuals and Couples, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Existential-Humanism, Family Systems Theories, Mindfulness and Experiential Interventions, Solution-Focused and the Gottman Method.

I am dedicated to helping couples and families correct their courses using love, limits and guidance. My role is to facilitate a space for compassionate communication where each person can learn to identify needs, become comfortable expressing feelings and engage in healthy dialogue to accomplish harmonious relationships.
