Portland Mental Health & Wellness's Groups

Gender Expansive Interpersonal Process Group

Have you ever wondered what has kept you from connecting with others and having satisfying relationships? You are not alone. And this experience can be particularly unique for folx who do not identify with the gender binary. Throughout this group, participants will have an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors surrounding conflict, anxiety, depression, trust, and boundaries in a group environment with peers who share similar identities and concerns. Together, group members will learn how to move from patterns of disconnection to cultivation of healthy and fulfilling relationships within their community and beyond.

More about this group

All Gender Religious Trauma & Sexuality Interperso

The religious trauma and sexuality group is an interpersonal process group for LGBTQ+ adults (21+) who have experienced past or current traumatic suffering associated with religion. Religious trauma emerges from being exposed to repeated implicit or explicit judgment, harassment, or abuse by using religious doctrine as the justification for mistreatment. This group is a space to explore past or current experiences of religious trauma alongside others who have had similar experiences and can offer new perspectives.
