My practice is based on connecting with and reclaiming the resiliency and self-determination of the human spirit within us. I believe we all have the capacity to overcome obstacles that interfere with inner peace and happiness, and we all share the need to be listened to and understood without judgment or criticism. I have experience in helping individuals navigate a range of issues including: trauma, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, grief, and relationship stressors, among others.
My work with you will not be determined by or based on a diagnosis. I have an eclectic, holistic and person-centered approach to therapy. I draw upon attachment based and trauma informed perspectives and also incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions. I am also trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
