Dealing with addiction can be an overwhelming experience that is filled with starts and stops and can often leave you hopeless and uncertain about the future. In many ways, addiction is like a bad relationship; the longer you remain in it, the worse it gets. Change is possible, but you do not need to go it alone. I will provide a therapeutic space that will meet you where you are and help you to discover the possibility of a better future.
I offer diagnostic evaluations, treatment and support with recovery and specialize in 'Problematic Drinking.' Oftentimes, you may feel uncertain if your drinking or substance usage is becoming problematic in nature. You may be drinking more than normal, to cope with pain or stress or to avoid problems or people and it can start to feel out of control.
Maybe you have a sense that the drinking is getting heavier than normal, and feel you want to reign it in, but aren't quite sure how. Together we can address what makes you want to drink or use, and find healthier ways of coping with stress, pain or problems. Appts available in person or through Telehealth.
