I am an experienced counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse treatment, trauma, grief, and oncology counseling fields. I have experience providing counseling services to a variety of individuals and groups, including adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, unresolved grief, trauma, and stressor-related disorders and more recently cancer survivors and their loved ones.
I use an integrative approach being conscious of clients in their totally, taking into consideration the physical, spiritual, and psychological dimensions of their human experience. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused and Existential Therapy.
