ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS & OPENINGS NOW; Weeknight & Weekend hours Sometimes pregnancy, the postpartum period, parenting and childhood are much more different than you may have hoped or thought it would be. Life stressors can lead to emotional and behavioral changes in children. This can lead women, parents and children to feel lonely, scared, depressed, anxious, frustrated and simply overwhelmed. Every little thing can seem hard, and it feels as if no one understands or can help. You or your child may feel like things will never get better or feel hopeless.
My approach is to create a safe space for you to feel heard, understood and validated as you explore your emotions, thoughts, and learn new skills for your personal/emotional growth. As a child therapist, I use a developmental approach and play therapy to resolve any emotional and behavioral concerns as well as support the parent/child relationship.
Asking for help can be so hard. We tend to go back and forth before actually committing to getting the help we need; My hope is that you will take the first step in calling me to walk alongside you as you start this new journey toward healing, hope, and joy. I look foward to the opportunity to work with you.
