I am an experienced Marriage and Family therapist who has worked in mental health for over 20 years. I have worked with patients who have displayed ADD, ADHD, ODD and GAD symptoms and adults who have been dealing with severe major depressive and anxiety disorders, at this time I work exclusively with adults. I have worked with psychotic behaviors and disorders, suicide and self-harming behaviors. Recently I have encountered many patients that have been severely impacted by the COVID epidemic regarding deficits in all areas of their lives.
I am currently working with some unique patients and I am certified to work with trauma patients. I work with psychotic disorders and Borderline Personality Disordered individuals, I am working with many individuals trying to assist them with clinical issues and treatment strategies, continuing to obtain more education to keep current.
I am very client-centered in my approach and offer unconditional positive regard to help my patients feel accepted and empower them to utilize strength and assist them in being their own change agent. My Trauma, Anxiety and Depressive disorder strategies are paramount in assisting patients and are widely accepted as current and proven ways of treatment.
