Each client presents with their own unique set of needs and challenges relative to the environments they were raised in. What many identify as disorders or dysfunction I view as necessary adaptations to environmental stressors. Within the context of that thinking people need to be able to function and manage their lives in a way that provides space for healing, happiness and love. I believe that what people desire most is to be seen, to live autonomously with self determination, and to feel connected to something greater than themselves, be it a cause, a community, an organization or God.

I am Licensed Master Social Worker that takes a person centered approach to meet my clients where they are, within the context of their environments and with close attention to the systems for which they interact with. I am an EMDR practitioner that utilizes Schema therapy, IFS and DBT to address the unique challenges of each client.

Normal is a myth. Trauma and suffering are part of the human experience. When human beings experience trauma their life narratives are disrupted and fragmented. When this happens people often feel isolated and alone. Therapy is connection and connectivity is the way back to our wholes selves and to processing our narratives in a way that allows us to move on
