Pisey Sok
Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT, MDiv
I currently provide telehealth counseling for individuals, couples, and families with a variety of presenting problems to improve their interpersonal relationships. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Restoration Therapy to diagnose and treat generalize anxiety, clinical depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, family problems, relational problems, and other adjustment disorders. I hope to help you regain greater self-control, inner peace, and power over anxiety, depression, and trauma to increase your emotional intelligence and self-regulation skills to improve your quality of life and relationships.
My education, training, and experience working in bicultural, bilingual, and multiethnic contexts shaped my cultural sensitivity to address the complex issues that disrupt the harmony in individuals, families, and communities. Raised in a bicultural environment, I value the role of faith, culture, and spirituality in healing trauma, anxiety, and depression.
As a husband and father, I know that finding the right therapist can be intimidating and overwhelming. My focus is to work on what's most important to you. My goals are to help discover new solutions, gain insight, integrate new understanding, and building new habits to help you achieve more confidence, contentment, and compassion with yourself and others.
