About

Over the years and after receiving thousands of initial calls and emails from clients, it is clear that many are unsure of what they need or where to go. We find great pleasure in helping clients navigate this process. As a group practice we are able to provide services for a variety of needs: anxiety, addictions, pain management, depression, relationship issues, psychological testing, individual, life transitions and even helping clients who just want to live their best life! We stand out in our efforts to make this process as smooth as possible. Many providers boast about their training in a particular treatment approach (and this is important) but research suggests that the interventions are only part of the story. The fit between client and clinician, the wellbeing of the clinician, the ease of access and the experience of the treatment process matter as much, and sometimes more, than the particular treatment model used. Pillars of Wellness was founded with the hope of ensuring an ideal client-clinician fit and providing both clients and clinicians with a positive experience. We let our clinicians excel at their craft by giving them the space to create their ideal practice.
There is no perfect way, but we aim to guide you towards the best possible options! We aim to have you quickly evaluated by our dedicated new client consultants, who will complete a comprehensive initial evaluation to better understand your needs and help identify a treatment provider that best fits your situation. Our consultants are trained to help you find a program/provider that works for you! It is common that the ideal fit is found with that initial session. After you are placed with a clinician that fits your needs our clinicians are trained on navigating the fit between client and clinician. If the therapeutic relationship is working, that is great, and there is clinical importance to understand what is working and why! If the relationship is not working, we help clients express their needs and find a way to get there needs met! If it is simply not a great fit, our clinicians can help you find a better option. It can be helpful to figure out how to improve these relationships (much like in life) and at times it is important to identify when it is not a good fit and find something that works better for you (soooo much like life).
To some it seems inconsequential, but at Pillars we strive to care for the clinicians that will be working with you. Burnout, compassion fatigue, moral injury, or whatever you want to call it, is real and the wellbeing of your therapist matters for your wellbeing! This is backed by research and with this in mind, Pillars aims to standout in our ability to provide a supportive and growth promoting experience for our clinicians. We work hard to support our clinicians and foster a healthy and happy work environment. We do not anticipate perfection, unless perfect is full of perfect little mistakes, but we do work towards achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients and clinicians. The wellbeing of your provider is a critical driver to your overall treatment success. There is no perfect, but we set our intention towards providing an enjoyable experience for clinicians so our clients, feel the love! We love what we do, and we hope you, your loved ones AND your therapist will find working with Pillars to be a welcomed part of the day.
