I received my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Barry University. I am licensed in the state of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor and certified by the Florida Certification Board as a Certified Addictions Professional. I am also trained EMDR trauma therapist by EMDRIA. Offer Immigration Evaluations and Substance Use Evaluations.
I am a firm believer in empowering individuals and families in managing a myriad of emotional, mental and spiritual dynamics often associated with overcoming substance abuse and co-occurring mental health problems. I work easily with adults, children and adolescents utilizing various counseling interventions and modalities: TF CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR.
I am the founder of Healing Waters Counseling, a private practice that specializes in grief and trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use and emotional and behavioral counseling such as PTSD, childhood disorders - ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder and relationship issues, premarital and marriage counseling. Ongoing Stress Management groups on Thursdays 5-6 pm.- 5/11/2017.
