I am available for tele-therapy sessions at this time using a secure platform. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Northern Virginia for 20 years, I attend to many areas of mental health including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career problems, grief, trauma, and life phases that are challenging. I have a collaborative, pragmatic, respectful counseling style that promotes self reflection, understanding and tolerance.
I specialize in family building, including recurrent pregnancy loss, ART, donor gamete, surrogacy, adoption and child free living. I assist with decisions about treatment planning and provide psychological assessments for intended surrogates and donors. By request I run 6 week donor information & support groups. Pre-marital counseling and assessments can help you get off to a good start and stay on track. Marital counseling provided for those in relationship disharmony or slightly off-track. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy ('Hold Me Tight' by Dr. Johnson) so that relationships can reach their full, satisfying, potential.
