Are you a person who wishes to work through relationship difficulties, trauma, anxiety, depression or self-esteem issues in a practical and compassionate way? Are you interested in a more holistic approach that addresses emotions, cognitions, body armor and inner spiritual resources? If so, we can collaborate to release old patterns and access creative energy, build confidence and insight and enhance work and relationships. Trauma, mood disorders, transitions, grief and loss, sexual identity issues, and family issues are common areas of concern that can transform through a positive, strengths-based approach.
I work to help strengthen the sense of Self, the ability to love and be loved, to function to one's potential. I listen carefully to how life experiences may have created beliefs that hinder reaching for and achieving your life goals. I utilize powerful tools to facilitate dissolving negative states while the capacity to love Self and others strengthens.
I use a synthesis of Self Psychology, EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy and dream interpretation to address conscious and unconscious sources of difficulties. I have led workshops for therapists across the United States on using mindfulness-based therapies to resolve childhood trauma that can impact one throughout life.
