About
Phyllis A Foley Counseling provides help and hope for the hurting. I have 20+ years experience in counseling and 26 years as a Psychology Professor and Dean. I have been married for 43 years and have three adult children including fraternal twins. I have an 11-year old granddaughter and 16 month old grandson who help me stay current when working with children. I focus on empowering individuals to take control of their lives. Occasionally, each of us just needs an objective listening ear who provides insight on all the options available to us and can assist us to reframe our situations.
The Rational Emotive Behavioral Approach proposed by Albert Ellis is extremely successful in dealing with adolescents and adults. The Family Systems Approach is highly efficient when working with families. Behavioral Therapy brings much success with children.
