I have an interpersonal style, and believe in treating the whole family unit. It is most important to create an atmosphere of trust and comfort, along with the clear boundaries of practice. However, the most important aspect of treatment is all parties working together to achieve the goal. No therapist, without cooperation of all parties, will be able to achieve goals.
My preferred method of practice is to work with the client and his/her family. I believe that my strengths lie in my work/life experience, variety of training, and ability to adapt to each patient individually, and to address their unique needs.
I have very specific experience in working with children and adolescents in therapy settings, schools, and assessments. I have worked as both a clinical child psychologist and school psychologist. Additionally, I have experience with specialized groups, such as the developmentally disabled.
