My ideal client is one who feels that they are stuck and has found it hard to find a way out. They are seeking purpose and are tired of living an unfulfilled life. They may have made some mistakes and need assistance on the journey of reconciliation. They could be dealing with a loss so detrimental that it has halted any forward progress in life and they now need to understand the new person they will become. They could have suffered tremendously at the hands of others and the pain of the past is still present and they need to find away to make sense of it all. My ideal client has been afflicted with the human condition.
My experience has led me to employ treatment modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution focused therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Narrative Therapy and Logo Therapy. My Social work training has led me to employ these therapeutic treatments through the ecosystem perspective.
