Groups
Friendship Groups for Elementary Age Children
We have several Friendship Groups during afterschool hours to help children learn to develop effective peer relationship skills. The group is appropriate for children who have ADHD, anxiety, depression, extremely shy and socially awkward. The groups are divided by age: Kindergarten through second grade and third through fifth grade. There are a maximum of six children per group. We do accept some insurance and the group sessions for the children are typically covered by insurance. Parents are required to participate in the treatment process.

Social Stars Groups for Children and Teens with As
Our Social Stars programs work to help facilitate more effective social behavior for children and teens with Aspergers Syndrome and Related Disorders. Our Social Stars groups focus on developing specific skills needed to engage in positive peer relationships. There are a maximum of four children or teens per group. We have groups for children starting in kindergarten through high school. Parents are expected to participate in the treatment process. Our groups are conducted during afterschool hours. We accept some insurance and group sessions with the chilren and teens are generally covered by insurance.

Middle School and High School Groups
Our adolescent groups are designed to help middle school and high school age teens to address the difficulties they face within the context of a supportive, positive environment utilizing peer support. The groups are separated by gender to allow greater opportunity to disclose sensitive information to receive assistance in overcoming their difficulties. There are a maximum of six adolescents in each group. Parents are expected to participate in the treatment process. Our groups meet during afterschool hours. We accept some insurance and group sessions with the teenagers is usually covered by insurance.
