Opening up about your past, fears, worries, trauma, and life challenges can be tough, especially if you don't feel a connection with the person you're sharing it with. My approach includes education, helping you understand your diagnosis, and teaching ways to challenge and change negative thoughts, with the ultimate goal of empowering you to manage your thoughts, emotions, and feelings independently.
After the first visit, we’ll go over your symptoms, how often they happen, and how long they stick around. We’ll talk about any changes, use tools to track your progress, and highlight areas to focus on. You’re the expert in your life, so you set your treatment goals.

I like using simple, clear language to encourage learning, comfort, and mutual understanding, which are key to effective therapy.
