I have adopted a motto of "I change lives, one person at a time." I graduated from Ohio University-Athens in 2003 with a Master of Education in Community and Agency Counseling. I have worked with about three different agencies developing a personal style of therapy. I find it effective to build rapport with clients in order to help them achieve goals, objectives, and interventions to improve their mental health.
On a personal note, I have been married for almost 50 years. During that time I have worked in the business world and the most important part of my life is that I have been the Founding Pastor of our church.
My scope of practice includes, but is not limited to: cognitive behavior theory, person centered approaches, motivational interviewing, and a supportive approach in improving overall well-being with clients. I have a background of working with couples as a pastor for 43 years and I am knowledgeable in developing parenting skills for challenging youth.
