My approach is integrative and may include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and strength-based work.
As a Black man, representation matters to me in a real way. I know what it means to search for help and feel the difference when you finally see a familiar face. I stand strong in what I believe, and I love God. That is not something I tuck away to seem more polished. It is part of my foundation.
I believe therapy should do more than help people get through the week. It should help people face what has wounded them, understand what has shaped them, and break patterns that have been running their life for too long.
