I like to work with adults, young adults, and late adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, and/or substance abuse difficulties, often using an action-oriented and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach. Of necessity, the approach will vary somewhat depending on the need. A licensed clinical psychologist, I have been in practice for 44 years. Currently I am providing services virtually, by teletherapy, using a secure video platform.
Feel free to call or write if you would like more information or if you think it would be useful to meet. For those interested in reading more, I co-authored a self-help book entitled "Beating the College Blues" and co-edited "College Mental Health Practice," a text for professionals.
My licensure enables me to provide teletherapy services to clients in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and New York. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
