I like to work with adults, young adults, and late adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, and/or substance abuse difficulties, often using an action-oriented and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach. Of necessity, the approach will vary somewhat depending on the need. A licensed clinical psychologist, I have been in practice for 40 years. Most of my time is spent in a university setting with a small private practice on the side. I have availability weekdays in the early evening (around 5:30 pm) and on weekends in Georgetown.

Feel free to call or write if you would like more information or if you think it would be useful to meet. For those interested in reading more, I co-authored a self-help book entitled "Beating the College Blues" and co-edited "College Mental Health Practice," a text for professionals.
