You are the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you interpret your experiences to find a way of living that serves you. With couples or individuals, I help clients identify the beliefs and behaviors they want to prioritize while adapting behaviors that may no longer serve them in the life they want to live.
In my work with couples, I offer guidance in finding new ways to approach communication and conflict resolution with an emphasis on context over content. I believe most problems are not inherent, and sometimes a change in perspective can offer clarity in approaching issues that may otherwise feel insurmountable.
One of my specializations is sexuality. Understanding our sexual needs can provide an avenue for vital connection and help resolve underlying conflict. Even for good communicators, we often lack the tools to openly discuss sex. I help my clients, couple or individual, foster curiosity and acceptance in order to find pleasure and safety in intimacy.
I strive to foster a safe environment for all clients through trauma informed care that is sex-positive, culturally grounded, kink informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
