I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals, but I enjoy working through changing stages of life, which could be moving from high school and starting life as an adult on our own or in college, or maybe rebuilding our relationships after emotional injuries. I also work with couples through difficulties in their relationship, from communication to many other issues we find in our most important relationships.
I offer a diverse collection of therapeutic approaches and tools. I am most heavily trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT. My background working in addiction has given me a wide range of experience working with different types of people and different presenting issues. I also use my nerdy interests to run Therapeutic Table Top Roleplaying Games.
I view therapy as a journey of the individual to grow and develop as they feel necessary. I find being allowed to walk that journey with the individual both a blessing and an honor. It is through the development of a therapeutic relationship and establishing trust that I am allowed to join with the individuals and help.
