As a gay man and transplant to LA from a conservative, religious community, I understand the ways feeling different can color your world, and how frustrating it is when the world tries to question or deny your experiences. If you feel unloveable, or misunderstood, if you’re questioning your identity, or coping with past traumas - I can help you. I will advocate for your authentic self. I’m a specialist in LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety and depression, religious trauma, healing from trauma, and men's issues. I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology with an LGBTQ+ Affirmative concentration from Antioch University Los Angeles.
You will take the lead as we explore the inner world, with me by your side to help make sense of it all. My room is a safe haven of non-judgment and deep compassion, as well as hard work. I take a holistic approach that is tailored to the specific needs of each client, incorporating psychodynamic therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR.
Individuals, couples, and families - through our work together, you will get to know yourself again. Our sessions will emphasize with depth work, storytelling, humor, and radical honesty. I believe all my clients are capable of doing hard things. I offer both in-person sessions on the West Side of Los Angeles, as well as via Telehealth for all Californians.
