I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and adults as they explore their identities and core values, process trauma, and find meaning in their experiences. My experiences growing up in a rural community, serving in the church, in human resources, and in social justice work have made me passionate about walking alongside people who have experienced marginalization and trauma in the workplace, in the church, at school, and in their communities – especially around issues related to sexuality and gender. And if you identify as a gamer, a nerd, or a geek, we will have a lot of shared language to do this work together!
I come to the therapeutic relationship with a person-centered approach, where compassion, empathy, and non-judgement are core elements of the healing work. I approach treatment with an integrated psychodynamic, internal family systems, and narrative therapy lens. I also incorporate NVC, the Enneagram, as well as ACT and CBT tools as appropriate.
Whether in person or over telehealth, one-on-one therapy or in a therapeutic TTRPG group (think group therapy but it's Dungeons and Dragons!), I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey of healing and growth.
