I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I entered this profession because I enjoy helping people. Anxiety, depression, and unstable mood are among the most common issues people bring to counseling with me. I like helping people learn about ALL scientifically validated approaches available to them. Many experience brighter and more stable mood, better sleep, and a greater sense of inner peace. I also like helping clients achieve their personal and career goals. I have over 20 years experience working with adults, families, and children. I genuinely enjoy assisting my clients, and I especially love working with kids.
Mood issues, poor sleep, and low energy can have a variety of causes. I am more knowledgeable than most counselors about alternative means of achieving mental and emotional health. I have a special interest in addiction (including behavioral addictions) and recovery. I love to work with families too - especially families with children.
As a clinician, I am trained both in traditional psychotherapy and in experiential or body centered psychotherapy. I am currently seeing clients only via teleconference (Zoom/Phone) due to concerns about Covid. I am an LPC Supervisor (LPC-S) and offer reasonable rates to students working toward their licensure.
