I have worked with many individuals to help them overcome a variety of difficulties causing pain and discomfort. I see adolescents and adults, and treat both individuals and couples. In my therapy I use solution focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and classic psychotherapy, as well as Jungian psychology. Stress reduction and mindfulness as a way to reduce anxiety are also used. My clients suffer from differing problems, including anxiety and depressive disorders, relationship problems of all kinds, and adjustment disorders. In addition, I have specialties in helping people suffering from eating disorders and from sexual or physical abuse.

Throughout life we all face challenges. Whether it's life circumstances, unexpected or anticipated stress, traumatic events and loss, internal or relationship conflict, social or medical stressors, emotional pain and sadness, low self-worth, or family conflict, seeking help is a step towards feeling happier and at peace. I establish clear interactive guidelines which focus on not bringing up the negative past, playing the blame game, or making dismissive comments about the relationship. A core premise of my work is that almost almost any relationship problem can be resolved as long as couples are committed to each other and open to changing how they communicate.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from SUNY Cortland and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Touro College.
