Dr. Cindy Edins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Educational Psychologist. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as a PhD in Educational Psychology. Dr. Cindy has over 20 years of experience counseling and 12 years of teaching psychology courses at local colleges/universities. Dr. Cindy has advanced training through the Beck Initiative for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy for which she holds a current certification. She is also certified as a substance abuse counselor through the 7-Challenges program which supports the clients in making healthy decisions about their drug and/or alcohol choices.

Katrice Hollins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 19 years of experience in the mental health field. Katrice’s clients are individuals who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed with their current life. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology at the University of Maryland-College Park and her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Maryland-Baltimore. Katrice believes that all humans are created equal. Regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, ability, sexuality, religion, or spiritual practice, everyone deserves to be respected, treated with dignity, and shown compassion and love.

Jana is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has worked in many different settings with a variety of populations. She has specialized training in substance use disorders, eating disorders, cancer support and other chronic disease, and health promotion/stress reduction. She enjoys building genuine relationships with her clients and believes it to be a priority. She utilizes multiple approaches in her therapeutic session, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, and Mindfulness-based interventions.

Jill Hughes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in counseling and care management. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and aging clients in individual, couples, family, and group therapy to address concerns about the self and relationships. Jill has a background in medical social services and is passionate about helping adults and children that are managing chronic illnesses and conditions which impact daily function, long-term health, and quality of life.

Feelings of depression, fear, anxiety, confusion, anger, grief, trauma, and other struggles beset us all at times. I believe creating an environment where everyone can feel safe and heard is vital, and cultivating a therapeutic alliance to be alongside individuals as a nonjudgmental support in the journey to wholeness and independence. I listen for unique needs and preferences and utilize an eclectic and integrated approach to working with the whole person. With empathy and compassion I will also ask challenging questions to explore ideas, new ways of thinking and understanding, and guide intuitive discovery for meaningful change.

I enjoy helping people confront unhealthy thinking, develop a plan for change and establish new patterns of behavior. My clients report feeling unburdened, more centered, and better equipped to face whatever crisis or challenge they are facing.
