Since my high school days, I have been interested in the field of psychology and the improvement of mental health. I pursued these interests at Holy Names University, where I received a dual Master of Arts In Counseling and Forensic Psychology. I have practiced for many years in nonprofit and forensic settings, having worked with victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse and sexual offenders, as well as school counseling with adolescents. In my sessions I like to create a comfortable, friendly, and supportive atmosphere.

Kim Yano is a Licensed Psychologist with over 10 years of experience specializing in treating depression, anxiety, trauma and significant phase of life transitions. Kim treats patients between the ages of 16 and 85 utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her approach with clients. Kim has extensive experience counseling teens, adults, seniors and groups in both clinical and outpatient settings. In her clinical work, Kim utilizes traditional talk therapy as well as art, music and mindfulness techniques.

I will provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering therapeutic space where we can work together to address life's challenges. I know it is not always easy to ask for help and I commend you for reaching out. If you are struggling to adjust to changes in your life, are anxious, feeling down or depressed, adapting to a medical concern, dealing with trauma, working on grief or loss, or are struggling with substance use, I can help. Dr. April Moyer is a Psychologist in California who has been practicing since 2020. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Clark University, a Master of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. Dr. Moyer’s approach emphasizes building rapport from the start. She recognizes that reaching out for help takes courage and tailors sessions to meet the unique needs of clients and families. Dr. Moyer has been fortunate to have experience and training working with children, adolescents, and adults in community-based clinics.
