Hello, welcome to A Fresh Start! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in Behavioral Health for the past 22 years. My clinical experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and families. I believe that we all can overcome challenges and adversities, which often interfere with one's personal growth. Our early experiences and culture shape who we are as individuals, how we see ourselves, and how we interact with others.
I specialize in providing individual and family psychotherapy, and treating individuals with mood/personality disorders, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. I also use a person-centered approach and apply different treatment modalities as clinically indicated, i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), ACT, and Mindfulness.
My practice provides a therapeutic and a nonjudgmental environment. As your therapist , I will help you to identify your triggers, explore painful experiences in your life, and develop coping skills to alleviate any emotional, physical, and psychological distress.
